While I myself do not value vivisection (monkeys too cute) I enjoyed Patrick Lawler's derailment of the timeline form. Also formally sprightly (if grammatically sketchy): Corinn Adams's poem "Reykjavik or Prague":
It's mainstream before it's time.
It's clever but it's clever in air quotes.
It's knee-high to avant-garde.
It's hearing me use "earnest" as a slur.
