Shanna responds to my response.

As I was saying on the phone walking across the middle of Manhattan after working way too late last night, it is to speak directly from my heart to say that once it made me angry to have to sit through boring bad poems, especially when they were held up as important or improving or better-than-mine. Nowadays, I hear a poem I don't care for, that's all right, it means something for the person who wrote it, I didn't give up that much time, and anybody listening can figure out for themselves how they feel.

I just want every journal I pick up, every book of poems, to be stunningly, heart-floodingly beautiful, hilarious, and true. Is that so much to ask?
