The truly depressing thing about Foetry is that it once and for all defeats the belief that the underdog crusader is always noble and in the right. Take that away, and suddenly comics, movies, journalism, hell, even poetry itself -- all much less entertaining. Whereas Jim's comics, do I need to point out how long ago he ditched the idea of being the good guy?
The good guy. The self-cancelling morally superior pain in the ass good guy.
Or maybe this is a matter of taste -- maybe Foetry people are to Rush Limbaugh as Jimmy people are to Howard Stern. (Now that I think of it, Foetry people are to Art Bell...)
